Has anyone else been "bit by the bug" as far as wanting to gather a bunch of silver? I've sold off most of my coin collection (save for some nice pieces) and been buying silver coins with it. I've also traded some extra stuff I had sitting around for silver. Anyone else been bit by the silver bug?
absolutely, i got bit too late, last year sometime. For some reason i go nuts for silver coins in any shape now. Glad to know i am not the only one!
These nasty Buggers? ^Silverfish^ I've hit the silver bug way before now. In fact, I hit it before it hit $30 in '09
I did back in 91, spent a lot of my spare money for a couple of years buying junk silver and silver dollars. Anytime I get bit by the bug I just dig out all of these old rolls.
I've been stacking lots of silver lately just today on Ebay I picked up 131 silver quarters, 8 dimes and 3 halfs lol.
I bought several pounds of junk silver at $4.00 per ounce. Still have a few pounds left after two major sell-offs. I love silver! Sometimes being an old frrt has its advantages.
Yeah, back in the 1970's. I experienced silver going from $5 or less to either $25 or $50, depending on which # you believe, then crashing back to $5-ish. A lot of the "new" silver buyers (buying in at $25 or more, say) have themselves convinced (I think) that there can't ever be another bear market in silver.....
just buy low and sell high and you will never lose $$$ , yes i was bit bad when i found a full roll of silver quarters that came in the store the first of this year and how i found this site
I got into it late (hoarding silver, that is). I bought a whack at $17 oz.. But it was nice to have a pile of scrap silver from my metal detecting finds.
Thank goodness I'm not the only silver crazed guy out there! Remember: as inflation surges, the price of silver will as well. So just continue collecting my friends. It will be worth it in the end. -CJ
You are correct in saying this. Back in 2008 the pessimists said fuel would never go below $3 a gallon again. Well come January 2009 I was filling up for as little as $1.54 a gallon in Utah. Silver is poised to have a major crash sometime this year or so. It will once again be $5, $6 or $7 an once which will make silver coins affordable to buy. No longer will 90% silver coins be a "rich" mans coin. People of all budgets should be able to afford silver coins. Right now not everyone can afford to buy them like they used to due to the highly inflated and artificial price of silver. Everyone who bought at $20-$45 will really be kicking themselves once silver goes back down to what it was in the '90s and first half of the last decade.
Subscribe to my newsletter for just $100/mo, and I'll tell you all I know about when the next lows and highs will be. (Tip for the thrifty: keep your money, ignore my newsletter, and you'll still know as much as I do about when the next lows and highs will be.)
Yeah, but someone is getting rich. Remember that the next time you read some scary story written by someon ewho writes these newsletters for a living, (not you Jeff )
