2011 Gold Buffalo

Anyone have any idea when the mint will stop selling the 2011 Gold Buffalo proof coin?

Thanks for the link, I have noticed the proof sales are low considering prior years, except for 08

 

2012 Bullion Bison should be available in March.
I'm not sure about the Proof version

 

I'm considering purchasing one of the proof 2011 Buffalo's by March 1. The question is will the US Mint give notice to when they will stop sales? Since I've been wanting this coin for the past 6 months and would be disappointed if I missed out on it with OGP from the Mint. thanks.

They are not real consistent about this. For this type coin, sometimes they will give notice by putting it in their "last chance" category. Other times, they simply will go to sold out. They have canceled orders on me like this. You might even get a sold out even if they take your order. You won't know for sure until they accept and give you a ship date.

My recommendation if you really want this coin, is to go ahead and order it.
