If you could get any of the following for approximately $4.00 per ounce over spot, which would you take: 32 Silver American Eagles BU 6 DMPL-69 2011 Glacier Bullion Pucks 1 2012 Perth Mint Kilo Silver Dragon BU The total cost will be about the same for each of them. I am just trying to decide which would be the best to purchase, all things considered. Thanks for your input.
Hey TH, Why not spread the love around? I would consider buying a single graded puck, a smaller dragon and then eagles with what's left. Personally, I'd do maple leafs in place of the ASE - I have a thing for the four nines.
Depends on what your purchasing the silver for imo. If your going to be holding it for a long term position choose the kilo dragon but if you'll maybe want/need to sell some off either for profit or being forced too by necessity choose the ASE's. It would hurt a lot more having to sell a kilo coin at whatever price if you were forced too then selling maybe a few silver rounds to cover some unexpected $$ circumstance. If your secure in funds no matter what again it boils down to convenience, preference and imo mintage numbers which will factor into premiums if/when selling later. The ASE's had there best year in 2011 maybe 2012 will be the same mintage wise if your coins are either year. But how many kilo dragons were minted when they were limited and sold originally only to Australian residents?
For some odd reason I don't trust the Chinese but for another odd reason I do trust our neighbors to the north.........
