    What the devil is "swag"? I'm familiar with "swagger" as my dear friend Guano exhibits it quite often, but I'm unfamiliar with the former.......

    green18;

    I think I'll hide and lurk behind you. If the answer is obvious, I'll pretend I knew all along. :>)

    It means "Scientific Wild Ass Guess". I heard it plenty when I worked in industry, though most using it in this context are unfamiliar with the actual acronym.

    Number of set/boxes sold, ungraded:

    1 sealed: 270 sets
    5 sealed: 960 boxes = 4800 sets
    other sealed(boxes of 2, 3 or 4): 212 counted(11/29-12/21) + 470 estimated(11/9-11/28) = 682 sets
    total sealed: 5752 sets

    1 unsealed: 1986 counted(11/14-12/21) + 315 estimated(11/9-11/13) = 2301 sets
    other unsealed(auctions of more than 1): 72 counted(12/1 - 12/21) + 158 estimated = 230 sets
    total unsealed: 2531 sets

    total ungraded: 8283 sets thru 12/21

    estimates derived by using actual ratio's of counted sets and applying the same ratios when data was unknown.

    profit, graded:

    Subtracts out grading fees(first strike for pcgs), ebay fees, paypal fees, and insured express mail fees.

    I've only seen two non first strike sets sell on ebay, so I haven't seperated out those sales yet.

    I use WAG frequently for capacity planing, I don't a need ascientific formula for a Wild Ass Guess. Now my WAG is that the A25 coins have bottom out at $600 per set.
