O.K. maybe it goes down to $100 per coin. Umm, still 67% profit

Only 496 listing for NGC Coins on ebay... Lowest number I have seen in a few weeks. week ago it was 850+

Yep, the number of total listings are dropping fast on eBay. Currently down to around 1,000 from over 1,800 a few days ago. If they keep dropping should see the price increasing.

Also around 80-90% of the listing are for single coins. earlier it was just sets and many of them 5 piece sets.

Not according to a few in here - they studied alternative economics.

Old enough to not try to gage supply and demand from ebay and if I did have to gage supply and demand from ebay I would know what to look for...Old enough to know the number of listings means **** in this case.

It's clearly an indicator. So, what do you use to draw all your erroneous conclusions?

The number of listings when it's in the hundreds isn't an indicator of anything other than how not rare they are. As long as there is 10 or more at any given time it's really not an indicator of anything...And you're right, I have made a few erroneous conclusions, I didn't think the ATB pucks would sell for melt as quick as they did and I didn't think these coins would drop from the sky as quick as they are. But I know for sure where they'll be in a few years....In my stack with all my other common bullion.

Have you been following what's going on with the 25th Ann Set? It doesn't appear so - oh yeah, 75% of the mintage was concentrated in flippers' hands. Or is that a factor you feel is irrelevant? As for the ATB P's we'll see in a few years. Or are mintages in the twenty thousands irrelevant you? Looks like we just have a difference of opinion as to what factors should be consider in determining long term numismatic potential. Bottom line is, as long as bullion is hot, low mintage bullion will be in demand. And, compared to mintages for bullion ASE’s, 100k is low, as are the ATB P’s. We don’t even have to guess for the 25th Set - we know the demand/price for the other low mintage ASE’s, the 95W & 2006 Set.

Not being Nostradamus or possessing any ability to foretell the future (if only, sigh), I obviously can't tell where the 25th set is going in the future.
Of course that doesn't mean I don't have an opinion ;)
Right now the market appears to be saturated as flippers try to cash in on raw sets and the graded sets are making their way back from the TPGs.
The ASE series is highly popular and completists are eventually going to have to vie for the 100,000 examples of the 2 unique coins in this set.
Long term, I'm bullish on these sets. I just got my 5 sets back from NGC and sadly only got 1 complete 70 set (although I got several other 70s). I'll be holding on to that set for the future.

Don't bother feeding the troll Statequarterguy. I am convinced Guano is 12 by the way he insists on downing what others enjoy. He can't seem to leave these 25th anniversary threads alone.

You keep saying this, so let's hear where you can buy 2010 ATB 5oz coins for $733 a set ($29.32 * 25oz per set) please?

I'm seeing a slowdown in the ebay flipping. Sets two weeks ago were selling upwards of 1550. Saw a few go last night in the 1300's. On the other hand the amount somone is still willing to pay for an individual 2011-W Reverse PCGS70 seems to still be climbing.
