glad to hear that as I just joined and submitted coins. Now, I'm back to waiting again and still haven't seen coins. By the way, it bothers me that the coin set packages bang around in the shipping box. Probably cause I bought 2 sets and the shipping box was made to hold 5.

Not getting any of these yet, I am wondering if there is any damage coming from them coming out of the holders?

Congrats indeed to the people on the bubble with high order numbers that are getting their sets. The next day or so I think will be when they will start to dry up. Hopefully we'll have more good news from the collectors still waiting. We're pulling for ya!

The results: I'm so happy to have received the set, also happy I chose not to grade it (the box is amazing too). You can see from the pictures:

Bullion has rim ding on right, RP has dark shadowy stuff on top, not just the photo, but it doesn't show in the right light. The S has a dot on the obv. on the coin, not the holder.

Also, on the W, it has cool ring like lustrous bands on the right of both faces of the coin, wondering what those are, can anybody tell me?

Congratulations!!! I'm jazzed for you. Your order #38376XXX and my order #383813XX are about 10K - 20K sets apart, based on my calculations. In all practicality, I am not holding out much hope anymore that my one-set order will be filled. I always try to remain optimistic, though.

To all the true collectors, congratulations on your newest acquisition. At least we can say, we fought a good battle. :)

Not any damage on my coins, but a couple of capsules in every set were out of place, and several of the plastic capsules were chipped. One set really bad. I will probably have to replace the capsules.

Darn airraid, you'd better get yours. I've been watching you blog since day 1 and you've never given up hope. You've been persistent to say the least. I'll be sick to see you go away empty handed. When it comes down to it, theres lots of bloggers that haven't given up, wish them all the best. But, none have seemed to care like you do. I see you only have 80 posts, I must have rad each of them. Every time I come on the site, there you are. Really, good, good luck.

Looks like its around 13,000 numbers a day.

    Thurs 38325 to 38333 delivered 8,000
    Thurs 38333 to 38337 shipped 4,000
    Fri 38337 to 38352 shipped 15,000
    Mon 38352 to 38365 shipped 13,000
    Tues 38365 to 38378 in stock & reserved…… 13,000
Wed should go to 38391 if there are still sets available.

Thanx Flying Dog. I'm guessing this 53,000 number is order numbers processed? Based on an average set per order of 3.7, this equates to 196,100 hypothetical sets (I'm betting some of those orders got cancelled for one reason or another).

I'm wondering if the Mint skips order numbers, i.e the next sequential order after #12345678 would come #12345688 type of a thing. I could envision that so each order has its own unique number set. Easier not to get order numbers confused.

If this is the case, then there may still be another 10,000 or so sets available to ship (just a guess).

    What's on our side is:
    1) address confirmation letters never returned,
    2) cancelled orders due to exceeding household limit,
    3) credit card declines.

But I do agree with the other posters who believe tomorrow will probably be the final day of reconning for those die-hards who haven't given up yet.

No, my status never changed. What concerns me is my order never went to "hold" (I understand that was due to a credit card confirmation check, but I've been a long time Mint customer). My order has always said "in process", and inside the box it has always said "backordered" with a moving shipping date. The email I received on 11-14 was strange. Only the subject line said "backordered" and it listed my order number. The text of the email gave no indication, no "Regret to inform you . . ", only order number, ship to, sold to, quantity, and I think total order amount. I understand this was a system generated email that always goes out on Monday to all open order holders.

I have to tell you (you already know) this wait has been excruciating - kind of like pulling teeth without the Novocain.

To my fellow collectors, I haven't given up yet, just preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best. I'll keep you all posted as I believe I am one of those orders that can go one way, or the other. Thank you.
