mine says 12:12 am. and yours says 12:17 am but shouldn't they say pm ? I'm on the west cost so my email says 9:12 am which is correct but on the mint site it says 12:12 am not pm.

 

Yeah I got an email this morning telling me my sets were on backorder and now set to ship on the 14th as well, logged onto the site and all seems to be well. HURRY UP AND SHIP ALREADY!!!

I have a funny feeling that they are shipping by the number of set ordered and not by time of order, we'll see.

 

Yup thats the email I got! Man this much anticipation and we are still 2 weeks from seeing out set, this is far worse then Christmas!

 

I got that same email. I do not like to see the word "regret" in an email, but all looks in order. :smile. TC

There might be more excitement about this set than the 2009 UHR.
Back then I got my order confirmation put it on the backburner until it arrived.

As posted above and as stated on the Mint's website, your order may not be shipped by the order in which it was placed. They contract with numerous shipping companies and may group up shipments by shipping vendor in order to reduce costs. They also state they make break up an order for multiple sets and ship sets at different times for the same purposes.

It sounds as if they process your order by time received, and each set is assigned a shipping vendor at that time, but that vendor may not get the packages to deliver by order number.

 

I felt that way as well. I read the word "regret" and my heart stopped for a second. It looks like normal, though, but glad to see many here got the same email.

 

The mint's clock has always been 12 hours slow.

 

Got same email for both orders 3836xxxx and 3839xxxx on hold and expected ship 11/14

 

My order was placed at 12:03 and it is still on hold. I also got worried when I saw "regret" in the email. Hopefully I can go to processing soon so I can stop worrying so much.

 

Today Oct 31, 2011

I checked my email & order status last night at 10pm before going to bed. No Changes yet.

This morning I got a new email from the Mint:


my email time was stamped 2:58 am mst. my order status is showing Hold

Qty 5 * Est ship date 11/14/11

I got one also

 

the mint is still processing those orders before 4:30 p.m. and those with back ordered e-mail. that's mean you're fine. or else you got a message saying cancellation. and this is for shipment dated 11/14/2011. but for hold status and shipment expected on 11/15/2011. the mint did not process them yet.

 

Any time I see the opening word "Greetings", I shudder with a flashback to opening my draft notice!

 

It was the, "We regret to inform you... that scared me.

 

Ah yes the old " Greetings From the President of the United States "
