I got on the computer at 12 EST and begin making 25th Anniversary set purchases right away.... slooooow website. I made purchases for family and friends and was able to place five orders in approximately 1-1/2 hours. My order numbers range by about 6500 numbers so I'm guessing they're sequential. What are your order numbers? My lowest is 38326XX... If it took me an hour and a half to watch 6500 orders pass by, I'm guessing that these sets will be sold out today or tomorrow. Please post your order numbers or approximates to protect your "actual" number. Thanks everyone! How exciting.
25 sets. must have used a different address each time. i will refrain from an opinion at this point. i would just like to have my order for the single set i plan on ordering
Ok.. approx 3.5hrs later.. order placed. not interesting: backordered... interestingly: date is 11/11/11
just got mine Yea i had 2 phone line running to get through. I ordered 1 set. I think this set is just wounderful. And maybe worth a heck of a lot of money down the road.
Done,http://www.cointalk.com/t194111/ Any more orders will go on a wait list. It's first come first served in case of cancellations.
Amazing. I had originally planned to order tonight or tomorrow to avoid the mad rush but quickly saw that was not a good strategy.
an update after almost 4 hours i finally recieved my confirmation at 4:17pm backordered until 11/11/11 and order number 3836xxxx
Has anyone confirmed they are in fact SOLD OUT? so if we got Does that mean we're not getting the set?
Just a quick question. Finally got an order through. When I checked my order history it said my order had been suspended with a expected ship date of something , I forget. What does that mean. I use to know but can not remember. Getting old.
When you ordered did it tell you your order was going on a waiting list? If not then you probably will get it. The Backorder simply means that they have taken more orders than they have sets ready for mailing. Some people seem to think that they strike all the coins ahead of time and then start selling. They don't. They make up some for immediately delivery, but not all of them because they don't want to have to melt any down if they don't sell well.
