Just got order in via toll free # at 10:15am PDT. Order #38336***. Tried internet and phone at the same time. Got all the way to final step on the internet and the page hung for an hour. Tried phone at the same time and after 75 redials got through.

I'm thinking that they'll sell for $500 once the sellout occurs and reduce down to $350 after the hype is gone.

WHAT? I never knew that! It had a choice of standard, which is what I always go with and it usually takes at least a week to get it, the other said 2-3 days. Is the automatic upgrade just for the anniv set?

 

Orders over $300 get automatic expedited shipping. Saw the AD for this on the site this very morning.

I wonder whether I should call my check card company/bank to advise them that I will have a charge of about $1,500.00 made on my account in the coming days/weeks? I think I am asking a rhetorical question, because the last thing I need is for the transaction to be denied due to being flagged as suspected fraudI have not charged more than a few hundred dollars at a time before on my card so this purchase is an atypically large charge. Credit card users may want to take this precaution.

 

No. This is normal for items with a delayed shipping date. Expect 11/10 or later.

 

Has anyone been able to place a phone order? So far the comments lead me to believe their site is the place to go.

Just suck it up! If you cancel, you may be shut out of reordering. I wouldn't take that chance.

 

Well I guess that means i SHOULD be ok as that would mean mine was in the first 3000 orders. I got lucky I guess as I got mine thru at 12:08EST. I Had to sell a few dear coins to make this purchase but I think it will be worth it, besides I only need a few more ASE's to complete my set so I HAD to get this.

 

That is how I got thru, the computer kept freezing up! it would have been nice to get more but I'm happy with the one I got! The wifes happy to when my coins get past to the kids, shes keeping the 20th and 25th anniversary sets for herself!
