I feel like a kid waiting for Santa! Just want to say if I'm lucky to get these in hand, 2 sets go to Ebay International
    http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/international-site.html

Since the mint represents the federal government, I believe it must project it's trust worthiness and full faith policy. This program will proceed without changing anything not already stated. I also believe this may be the lowest production run ever! The ASE's phenomenal worldwide recognition and huge collector base makes this set better than gold. In our current financial system, this set will never be worth less than it's issue price.

    Good luck to all!

I've been logged on the site at the appointed time with the product offering on my screen, and nothing happens. Nothing appears telling me the product is now being offered for purchase. I wind up hitting "refresh" and if I'm lucky (after about 15 or 20 minutes) that's when the "buy" link appears.

I think the secondary market is far from settled on these yet. There's a lot of factors yet to unfold.

    - How many people world wide, want them and may not be able to get one from the initial offering?
    - How many people don't even know about this set yet?
    - How many will actually be left in mint packaging when it's all said and done?
    - How many will actually be off the market?
    - It says they're shipping late November. Will there be a rush to get these in December before Christmas?

Some of these "pre-sale" people could be very disappointed if a real rush comes. The panic doesn't actually set in until after their sold out.

Dang, you are the fourth at least I know of.

Funny story, when my wife and I heard we were aving a son we called our respective mothers. Both of them had the same reaction, "Really? Are they sure? Maybe they just misread the ultrasound? Well, I guess its ok". We both hung up, looked at each other, and said, "I guess we screwed up!"

Best of luck Bluetip. I started this just trying to get a set for my month old son, but I seriously, as I sit here, do not know how many sets I will be ordering.

Does anybody have the link to order the American Eagle 25[SUP]th[/SUP] Anniversary Silver Coin Set? So far, nothing shows up on the US Mint website.

Just a quick question. People post that sales to dealers have to be "unopened" boxes. Why is this? Does it affect their ability to slab, or is it the dealer do not want you cherrypicking the 70's?

It has been reported that the mint has all 100,000 sets ready and produced at this time. Why would they wait a month before sending them out? Will they screen these orders more closely for duplicates before shipping? I can't logically understand their delay.

Can't wait, just made sure I updated my 0% apr card so after flipping a few, I'll just pay them back when I sell.
