I've seen that late at night you are right sometimes they prices aren't so bad but when he keeps saying going once going twice then talks for 3-4 minutes about the coin then going once going twice.....5-6 times it gets old quick. Tim
Perfectly happy and satisfied till they go and try to sell their treasures, which no doubt some feel is an investment, and find out that what they bought is worth a fraction of what they paid for it.....

doesn't matter who the mods are, it's your chosen verbiage in your post that needs to be edited for family consumption.

Please try to understand what you are reading on this forum is a ONE TIME offer. We can't guarantee these prices for very long. The Morgan dollar has been long sold out and hasn't been made in over 90 years. We are offering you something that is a special opportunity for these rare coins. Again, we can't guarantee these prices for very long. This is a ONE TIME OFFER. We Don't know when or if we will get these coins back in stock ever again. :goofer: Sorry, I can't try that 3 times in a row like that one guy says stuff three times in a row.
I was watching yesterday. They were selling MS63 morgans for $90 each. They claimed that you could go to the Chicago ANA show and only a very small number of dealers would be able to offer 20 different dates blah, blah, blah. I have never even been to a coin show and I assume that this is a flat out lie, and if it isn't, it is only because it would be unlikely for anybody to go through all that trouble to stock up and transport tons of common date MS63 morgans. The sad thing is, with the crazy increase in bullion values, many people possibly have made a profit from things they bought years ago which only reenforces the customer's trust in their business. I do like to watch the shows and they do get me excited about some things I have not started collecting and then I find a cheaper supplier and buy them.
The posters trashing the coin vault are likely small time owners or workers in coin stores. The Coin Vault is like any other retailer, buyer beware. I bought two rolls of '64 kennedy unc about 5 years ago for $100 and it was a fine transaction. I could not find rolls anywhere else. Worked out fine.
No, they're more likely smart, educated collectors who know what they're doing. It doesn't take much knowledge to understand how over-priced and inaccurate the sellers of coins on tv are. Guy
Here is Robert Chamber's bio on the Coin Vault's site: For more than 20 years, renowned coin enthusiast and numismatic authority Robert Chambers has hosted The Coin Vault bringing collectors and numismatists the opportunity to own some of the world's finest rare coins. Like many collectors, Robert's interest in collectibles began at an early age. Robert's passion became his profession in 1988, when he took a chance on an audition on Shop at Home. He screen tested on Wednesday, was hired Thursday, and on the air by Friday. As the old saying goes, the rest is history. Over the last two decades, Robert has delivered over $1,000,000,000 in collectible coins to collectors throughout the United States. His motto: Describe exactly what the item is, be precise about the grade or condition, and deliver it in the timeliest fashion.
I have watched various coin shows including the coin valt on tv for several years now. I'm sure they are all good people but I learned early on to chronicle what they are offering and the price for that paticular item then go online. I generally found that same item at least 20% less. For me I watch the coin shows generally as a point of reference.
