I know that basing monetary decisions on advice over the Internet without doing research is not a good idea, but I wanted to get a feel for where people think is a good place for 401K / 403B to be in light of recent events. I've been looking at HL (Hecla Mining) and SIL (Global X Silver Miners), but they seem to be following the stock market more than the physical market. I tend to like inflation protected bonds and think the Fed will continue to prop those up as needed, but for the sake of looking at possibilities I'm curious what options there are for paper gold and silver that won't be as swayed by what the rest of the stock market is doing. I know that SLV and GLD are the basic equivalents, and GLD does look strong, but I've been wary of those two because of the possibility that they are spread too thin for their inventories. Maybe I just need to get over that and look at them for what they are, not what I'd like them to be. Even Eric Sprott's PSLV took a hit, and there's little question as to his inventories being sufficient.
