If you only want to buy one as a collector's piece, sure why not? I wouldn't waste the extra cash buying much more than that. I think .999 US silver is just as good as .999 Swiss silver. Somehow they've achieved some kind of mystique to them. I guess there's always people that have to have what nobody else has. And will pay a premium to get it no matter how foolish it is.
I use apmex for most of my purchases or price comparisons. You could try to win one on ebay for the price you would like to pay. Remember that Apmex shi[pping can be a little much if your not ordering in bulk, I would never order only 1 oz of silver from them.
Purchase ASE , Philharmonics, or Maple Leafs. That is if you just want bullion. Buy the burnished W unit for a silver collectible.
