    Wow, someone just paid almost six bucks for 30 cents worth of copper (maybe) and a few pennies worth of silver plating. Then again, I guess you can't put a price on "art".

    I'm definitely saying that no one should have bid more then $.30 on this item... because that's about the value of the copper in it.

    private listing for some reason... to hide prices of "better deals"?

    Or maybe to hide the name of confederate bidders that “help” increase the price of the auction.
