  1. The San Francisco Mint will produce ASEs starting at the end of May due to unprecedented demand:

No S mint mark though. It would be great if there was a way to distinguish between the West Point and San Francisco Mint ASEs. Time to get out the microscope. :D TC

An S mintmark would have led to soaring demand. Too bad.

Sounds like the market is going to get flooded with Silver Eagles. It'll be interesting to see if demand keeps up and what happens to the premiums.

Going to get flooded? My god they can't mint these things fast enough. Most of the dealers are in mid-June for delivery and some out to July at unheard of premiums. 2008 20 million 2009 30 million 2010 35 million 2011 40, 45? 50? who the heck knows million???
