DONT UPDATE IT! If you update the app to the current version, it will be the same except it will have a huge banner add at the top... I updated, and now im looking everywhere trying to find the older version. Just thought some of you would want to know this.
The developers work hard to bring you these free apps. The only way they can make money is to have advertisements. Kcast should however offer a paid version that doesn't have ads.
I updated a long time ago and want happy with the ad. gbroke is right though they gotta keep em free somehow. This is the best app always know whats going on the the pm world, and stock market with Bloomberg mobile, isn't technology wonderful
Very true, gbroke. I do respect that, however at the same time, it is freeware software. And for the listed reason for update, it claims "bug fix." It is up to anyone, whether they want to update their (bug-free) software or not. I am not telling people how to pirate a shareware or payware product. Personally, the software has brought kitco to my attention better than any of its annoying adds will.
That's why you need to root your phone and install Titanium Backup. If you don't like a new version of an app, just roll back to the previous version. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
LOL joined the forum to talk about phones. Well thank you for the info.. a few of my friends have Droids but I still have a blackberry pearl.. I like it simple
Whats weird is, since you started this thread, I decided to download the app. I don't see any ads. It is a nice widget on my phone desktop. So, I am not sure where the ad would be... Thanks for the tip on the app though! I like it.
hmm. see I have a blackberry pearl with a very small (non-touch) screen. Its not a widget, but I have an icon that displays my silver price, and then I click that to get all other info. When I click it the banner add at the top makes it hard for me to use this very smal phone I have. Glad you like the app though, its great.
Haha, no I joined a few months back. I Just haven't posted until now. It is kind of funny that my first post has nothing to do with coins. Oh well.
