not sure if all of you know about this site and I hope I am not violating any rules trying to help the members here save money. http://home.bigcrumbs.com/ for those that are not familiar with this site, its a cash back program that pays you a % back of money you spent shopping online. sites included are walmart, home depot, bestbuy, ebay etc. Ebay is especially important to people like us who buy gold or silver off ebay. Current you get 36% of listing and closing cost (that seller pays ebay) back for each purchase you make. So if you buy 10 silver eagles for $500 on ebay and the seller pays ebay $36 in fees, you will roughly get refunded back to you $12. I know some of you spend a lot on here, so your earning back potential is limitless. The site is free to join and they pay you once a month via paypal. purchases you make in january, you get paid in march and so on. Here is a screen shot of some of my ebay purchases and the cash back i got for each auction. once you register for the site (free) and you know you are going to shop online, simply go to the above link and search for the website you will be shopping at, it will pull up a link and take you directly to the site and track what you purchase and credit your account within around 24 hours of you making a purchase. like i said I hope this helps some of you save cash and lower your overall cost. If this violates some rule, please let me know.
Ebates is the cashback program I'm affiliated with. It's pennies I get back but still a little something
Sooooooo... they pay you, correct? And this money they pay you comes from??? I use to love SPAM, fried and served on toast with hot mustard.
its not spam, sign up under me or dont. not that big of a deal. sites like ebay, walmart, best buy, home depot, etc pay bigcrumbs for people shopping through them, bigcrumbs passes back some of this money to its members, so you continue to shop through them. ebay for example, you get 36% of the fees the seller of the auction pays for listing/closing fee. if your signed up under me, I also get 4%. if you sign up on your own, you still only get 36% back, so your basically just doing me a favor by signing up under me. But since i showed you the site and it doesnt hurt you in any way, i don't see why people would be against giving me the referral.
I don't get the gist of your response, if you are pro or con. From the website in question: "Each referral method below includes your personal referral links. When people follow your links to [us] and join, you get credit for the referral and earn cash each time they shop. Even if they decide not to join, but shop, you still earn a commission!" That's what "kidman232" at the end of the URL is for: Commissions via cookies (to go with your SPAM). This thread really has no place here. It's like a huge advertisement, and the OP gets a kick-back.
Why don't you just stick to the intent of this forum, instead of sending people to some third-party money-making enterprise, where you can earn points/money? Your indignation is duly noted...and ignored.
helping people save money on bullion purchases so they can buy more or buy at a cheaper rate makes me a bad guy?
No, trying to make money off of other people registering does, though. It's pretty clear you signed up just to post this. Not trying to be an a.. or anything, just telling it like it is, man.
if it doesnt cost you anything, provides a service that is very beneficial to you, what is the problem for me getting credit for referring someone when in fact I referred them to the site? in fact it would kind of be an a.. move to look at that site, join the site because you like it, and not register under me when it doesnt effect or cost you anything. just telling it like it is, man.
There's a very good reason why spam isn't allowed. If they let your's go,where will it stop. Before long the whole site would be nothing but. Just edit the OP and take out the link to the referrals and everything will be kosher.
ebay pays bigcrumbs for sending customers to them. bigcrumbs then turns and gives its customer part of the profits so they keep shopping through them. Really complicated system
OP, I suggest you edit your post and remove the REFERRAL part of your link. If you wish to share the savings of "big crumbs", you can do so without your own referral link. As said by d.t.menace, if we allow your referral link, then why can't I, and everyone else on this board flood the site with our own referral links to 3rd party "click through" sites. . . If I could, don't you think that I would have already posted my own referral to big crumbs? I'f you don't wish to comply, I'm sure a moderator will take care of your post since you have refused to do so on your own... shame.
