Please post what the slabbed grades were that you received directly from JH. NOT those that you received raw and submitted for grading. Any 69 DMPL?

You got that much for THREE of them?

What a mistake I made passing up the JH sale. I had plenty of time to hit the "buy" button.

I thought the Jack Hunt coins were all PCGS...9Guns, get those nice NGC's somewhere else or did the Hunt stuff get split between grading houses? That does not make sense as bulk price is better with more volume and they would have been after the lower cost.

I got mine in bubble mailers...buddy got five slabbed...one PL and one DMPL

Same here, but I don't think of it as being anything other than what I expected. Those that got some slabbed are just a bit luckier than the two of us. Who's to say that you couldn't get a 69DMPL in one of those bubble mailers?

I'd gladly order ten more sets as received.

Just Google the name. It's the first return.

One of the (12?) approved sellers of the Mint's ATB 5-ounce 5-coin sets from 2010. He handled the sales on a first come first served basis, while other sellers screwed around with hoops of fire that buyers needed to jump through.

Unknown to buyers, many but not all of the coins were sent by JH to grading services prior to sale...those are the "slabbed" coins. So some buyers got typical ungraded BU coins in the Mint's plastic pouches, while others got near-perfect or less, graded coins.

And some of us were too stupid to hit the "buy" button when there were still 700 or so sets up for grabs.

They lost my money order the first time around (I'm still dealing with the USPS to get that refunded!!!!). Had to send in a check and I'm still waiting for my set... they did promise me it would be already graded by PCGS and each coin will be graded at least MS68. Hopefully I get them this week as it seems like I've been waiting forever!
