Anyone know why the USD jumped from 74.2 to 74.46 last 30 minutes?

My advice to everyone is to buy physical on this dip. However, I'm not sure you have the stomach for investing in Silver. We've reached the point where multi dollar swings can occur on a daily basis. The price just breached $40 a couple weeks ago and we're still over that. And what will you sell your Silver for? Federal Reserve Confetti? Do you really want to buy another ticket on the U$ Titanic?

There is a war going on in the paper silver markets. Millions of shares are being traded each day, which is affecting the price of physical. I have no doubt that the dollar price of Silver will rebound quickly, but I'm not sure what you consider quick. We'll be over $50 within a couple months at the latest.

Sigh. So much rhetoric, so little knowledge.

I'm not an oracle. But I've been around a while, and I know a parabolic rise in the price of anything usually leads to a parabolic drop.

I bought most of my silver in the $10 - $12 range. I've sold enough during the price run up to effectively have nothing in the silver I have left. This puts me in a pretty sweet situation, so there's no edginess in my perspective as there is in some people's.

I won't be buying or selling at the current prices. IF it goes up much above $50, I'll sell some more. IF it goes down much below $20, I'll buy some more. Between those two figures, I'll watch what others do.

I don't track the USD as many of you seem to do. Personally, I don't see this report being upbeat in any sense. That said, I'll put away my crystal ball and watch and listen .
