I got that email too. Think of it as a sign that silver and gold will go much higher :)

  5. I got the same email. My guess is that they have buyers lined up already at much higher prices. TC

This is why gold Pandas and other less common Chinese coins disappeared over the last year. They were being bought up and sent back to China where consumers were paying significant premiums for these coins. Coins produced before the communists allowed the citizens to own gold (~2000-2001 and earlier) are in especially high demand.

Coin dealers that specialize in Chinese coins have been buyers for quite a while now.

my local coin dealer (that does huge volume of internet orders) completely sold out of their entire inventory (all 26 years) of ASE's

they get shipments of 2011's ... then quickly sell out ... and have to wait for their next shipment

I wonder how they are going to deal with the 2010 America The Beautiful 5 oz. Silver coin sets if they buy any from a regular joe?

Think they will buy back the set I have on order from them and we can split the shipping. Easy money as I bought it for under $1000.

To me, that indicates a top is very close. When the mainstream public starts buying up anything, a bubble is soon to be popped... Just my opinion of course.

I wonder if they will waive my $30 CC charge if I sell back without taking delivery?

Amazing, how does the price of silver drop from 49.5 to under 45 based on this news. There is obviously a supply problem and yet spot keeps dropping. Something fishy is in the air.

I just got this same email. And all I can say is, keep wanting APMEX, I'm not selling my sets or anything I bought from the U.S. Mint.

Here is another thought. Since their outstanding orders are going to be graded, they could keep those claiming they were the buy backs and now are no longer under the guidelines of the original mint agreement. They now can sell them for any price they wish without a time frame. Knowing most of the low grade sets may be returned, they can ship these out claiming they are the originals. They get to keep all the high grade sets this way and give an appearance of meeting their contract with the government.

i had 3 slabbers from jack hunt that i started at $360 each but had no bids with 9 hours left si i just yanked it now. i dont want no stinking sniper coming in, i want to see some bidding action. i think i'll relist them when the pos is on the move again, maybee this time i'll make it a 3 day auction, 7 days might be too long. i want to sell on the rise not on the dip.
