My Bank

    My bank has 2004 2005 2006 ASE for sale still for $32.00 each, I think I might pick some up tomorrow

  3. I have never seen ASEs sold at banks (although some on this forum have mentioned it). If your bank is selling them at that price, buy them all! TC

    I will tell you right where it is, they have about 50 left and I can only afford to buy 5 or 6 of them. where I am from all the small town banks have ASE and U.S. Mint sets for sale for the people that dont have internet!

    I just think its funny how they dont raise their price as silver goes up!

    I was wrong they dont have any ASE for sale for $32.00/each they have them for sale for $28.75/each and I am going to clean them out tomorrow they have around 50 coins all in air tights with the COA and in a collector box

    those should be either proof or burnished pieces with the coa

    What does burnished mean? I have never heard of that before. They are not proofs I have seen them

    LOL I wouldn't get them, but let me know where this bank is so I can go chastise them. ;)

    that is the first time i have ever heard of a bank selling ASE's. i worked for a bank for many years and they would never do that. interesting. i did get a bunch from one of the tellers that had gotten them from a customer. they both thought they were only worth $1. the teller knew i collected coins so i just got them from her for $1 a piece. score !!!! :D

    I can tell you with 100% certainty: Some banks do get mint/proof sets and ASEs.

    My father was a VP at a major bank, and he used to give us these coins...we got ASEs for Christmas one year.
