Silver's volatility is set to increase and sharp corrections are likely, however the sharp falls seen after the Hunt Brothers manipulation ended are unlikely today given the very strong supply and demand fundamentals.

Sleep with your Silver under your pillow!

    hmm..

Will a short squeeze pop the silver... (and gold and oil and ag) bubble?

A short squeeze would theoretically be beneficial for holders of physical silver.

This rumor has been going around for almost a decade. If it really does happen I will sell all my silver and go into a metal that hasn't gone up nearly as much percentage wise, Platinum.

If you are just going to parrot what that other web site posts, why not link to the original article? You didn't even credit the original source.

Sometimes, on these forums, I get the impression that nothing matters except that other web site. It is the "Oh Wise One" of all PM forums and blogs.

Perhaps this forum and all similar forums should be shut down, with redirects to that web site.

Or perhaps plagiarizing sources without citing them should be grounds for a one week ban.

Bet people would learn in a hurry to cite their sources.

As someone who has written several articles on SA, I can tell you that if you plagiarize my work so blatantly, I will absolutely go to the moderation of whichever forum you may be posting on. I've done it before, and I'll do it again, and seeing that you pretty much plagiarized this article, while I'm not the writer of it, I can only suggest you edit your post to add a link and put some quote tabs in there.

I agree. This whole thread doesn't make sense.

Plagerism is rampant on all precious metals sites. There are still a few people out there who don't quite realize that everything they are saying is old news to the audience.

This is the original source (?)

This one doesn't site the above one..... as a dozen others don't.... it has gone to "Fair Use".
    http://seekingalpha.com/article/265105-silver-s-volatility-is-set-to-increase

"The Fair Use Doctrine is one of the most important limitations on the exclusive rights of the copyright holder. It allows that copyright can be infringed because strict application of the law impedes the production and dissemination of works to the public (the Internet). The Fair Use Doctrine was added as Section 107 of The Copyright Act of 1976 and was based on a history of judicial decisions that recognized that unauthorized infringements of copyright were "fair uses."

The real point is, that starting Monday we all could be in for a real ride with Silver.

A recent ruling just went against the Las Vegas Review Journal claimant, in favor of the defendant (Oregon Non-Profit).

This judge knows that "shake-down" lawyers are going after those who will "pay-up quick" because they can't afford to go to court. This is why the Fair Use Doctrine was established...... to protect "the little guy" and his Constitutional rights against greedy "Ambulance Chasing" lawyers from changing into greedy "Internet Blog and Forum Chasers".

Hey! Hey! ...enough with the legal "rants". :eek:ff-topic: Is there gonna be a short squeeze or not?

Say, while we're "off topic", look what I just picked up on the "Bay"...

Yes, "off topic" is right --- how'd that happen.
    Who rainned on my post?:stormy:

Anyone care to guess where the price of Silver will be closes of this coming Friday.

I say $53.67/oz., and it will be the #1 News Story !

I still say no higher than $49.98 :D

The Dali is bonze (90% copper, 10% zinc), 70mm (2-3/4"), and 137gms (about 1/3 lbs). The design depicts his "Temptation of St. Anthony" painting...pretty cool! These medals probably won't be worth much, but I like the designs.

Nice buy Yakpoo. Salvador Dali...one of my favorite artists. A few Dali quotes. ... There is only one difference between a madman and me - The madman thinks he is sane - I know I am mad ... ." Ah yes...the now closed thread where you bravely predicted that silver would not go above $50.00.

I had hoped that thread would stay alive until we reached some kind of resolution on your prediction. But you've popped it again here. Paraphrasing General MacArthur.."Old threads don't die, they just migrate to other threads."

I just saw a national newscast (Thursday night) that talked about gold hitting the $1500 mark. They didn't even mention silver at all. So if it does top $50, it will make Coin World, The Numismatist, and other trade magazines but I not sure if it will have the impact that gold is having. It still hasn't grabbed the attention of the public or the mass media. Go figure?
