The ATB's from Jack Hunt showed up today.

Man these things are big. I'm not overwhelmed with them to be honest. Its kind of like looking at a image that has been blown up too large. It seems like a waste of that 3 inches of real estate. But it sure is a neat way to have some silver.

Jack Hunt lost some payments through express mail and has offered a discount to these individuals and something about their set being pcgs 68. Something is rotten in Denmark on this.

Interesting, well I just missed a delivery from Jack Hunt this morning. I'll let you know if they are graded but i suspect not :)

Just got email from FideliTrade. They've approved my order and are shipping it. 3 sets, now! Gonna sit back and hope the aftermarket price takes off or the spot price climbs.

I recieved my five from Manfra, Tordella & Brooks today. Given the current spot price I was expecting a refund and was very surprised to sign for the UPS express package this afternoon. Jeez, I'm thinking how can you go wrong getting 25oz @$41 with spot over $42 today. Time will really tell how smart(or dumb) the purchase proves to be. I agree with others here though - its a really cool way to hold bullion! By the way, placed the order 4/5.

Has the market cooled off? They are not selling too fast at APMEX. Still 1658 left.

They had 3,100 sets to sell and only 3,500 people were on the "list". I'd say that 1,442 sets in 2 days with only 3,500 people eligible wasn't too bad. That's a 41% uptake rate. They won't last long once they're opened up to the proles (!) after the exclusive offer ends at midnight tonight.

Just saw a complete set go for $1275. (eBay) It wasn't graded though.

Yes, and that number remaining has not been going down hardly at all today. One possible explanation is that many of the people on the list at APMEX have already gotten one or more sets from other sellers and are not buying.

I am seeing lots of PCGS 67's, 68's, 69's and DMPL's on eBay. could some of these be the ones from APMEX? Prices are still up there, too.

I wonder if the average Joe will get that kind of grade from APMEX?

I'll take "No, but they'll mysteriously have a few high grade sets listed in a couple of months when the fuss has died down" for $7,000 please Alex.

I was told their list was over 18,000 people by APMEX

Correct, of which 3,500 people were permitted to order after some sort of internal lottery process.
