$99.95 is included in the $988.75 price. $10.00 shipping fee makes the total price $998.75.

Is as clear as mud, but I think means that the processing fee is included in the $959.95 product price. Certainly it wasn't listed on my order confirmation or charged to my card. I'm guessing it's for the grading/slabbing and designed to get around the $860 or so max price that they could have charged raw per the Mint's pricing mandate. Who knows though. It couldn't be more ambiguously written.

i found this on another forum, dont know if the numbers are real but they did start with 3100, i know for sure.

18,000 people signed up months ago. Of the 18,000 only 3,500 will receive notification...and they can only order 1 set for approx. $970 including shipping costs. So at this time, they are under spot!

Of the 3,500 selected to receive notification, only 3,100 will be able to order because they are first come first serve.

They are slabbed, PCGS BU or Better First Strike.

 

Someone mentioned that the vapor blasting on the UNCs may not remove all of the scratches/scuffs some of these coins have. I'm thinking they probably were more carefully handled at the mint before the blasting process, therefore they should be overall of higher and more uniform quality. The bullion were resting against each other in the 10 coin tubes as they were shipped from the mint to the APs.

 

APMEX allowed me to go through the motions of ordering this set, opening a new account, and not once indicated that I would not be able to get a set.

In other words, they gathered my personal information under false pretenses. After they had the information, they gave me the proverbial middle finger.

That is a fairly unethical thing to do, in my book.

 

Just received my alert about 2 hours after I placed my order.

I'm assuming that they're staggering sending the emails out to avoid their site being swamped, but that if your account is "on the list" to receive one at some point then you can go ahead and order anyway.

FWIW, even though I was on the list, I think this is a crappy way to do business.

2,695 left at APMEX...... I haven't got an e-mail and I signed up for "Alert Me" as well. Oh well, got mine already....

 

mayee they are sending alerts out in batches so they dont overload the site or something?

 

Got my APMEX set ordered. $960 + $25 shipping. As long as silver stays near $40 I'm in the black.
Not a bad deal considering they are already graded. I'm sure e-bay is going to be flooded with these sets very soon.
FedEx is telling me the set from Jack Hunt it at home waiting for me. I really want to leave work early just to check it out.

 

finally got some delivery movement on my JH order placed 3/26, getting it next tues.

 

Still waiting on FideliTrade. Sitting on my check for a week, now.

 

I wouldn't expect to see them anytime soon, I think they had my check for about a month before mine arrived...
