Hi Guys. I was given a 1oz Krugerrand as a birthday present a few years ago from my grandparents but it's now arrived at the stage where I would like to trade it in order to purchase a watch with their names engraved on it. Im in South Africa, Johannesburg to be precise, and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice about where to go about doing this? What sort of prices I can expect? Etc. I believe the coin I have is a 'proof' coin minted in 1990 as it is in a special case and encapsulated and shiny as anything. How would I work out the premium on this? Would I get this?
