I bought a set directly from MTB for $930 (very nice coins!). Once silver hit $38.22, I was in the black! I'll probably keep them stored in raw condition until we see how this series pans out. I didn't buy them to resell so I can take my time having them slabbed.

I agree with yakpoo. There is nothing to gain in having them graded if you are not going to sell them immediately. The First Strike designation is grandfathered. And if they just retail at close to spot one day, you would save the $250-$300 in grading costs.

My Jack Hunt coins just arrived. They are in little bubble pak envelopes.

Congratulations! You must be one of the very first. No AirTite holders, just straight into bubble paks?

Yep, they are directly in bubble paks. The bubble paks are in an envelope. The envelope is in a box. The box is wrapped in bubble pak. And finally the whole thing is in a larger box.

MTB packaged their's similarly. The difference was theirs were in Air-Tites as well.

Fidelitrade will not sell to you unless you provide your Social Security or Tax Identification number. Why? No one else does that.

Well, I got mine in from jack Hunt and am pleased overall. The packaging was good as described before, however, I had to wipe off a couple of fingerprints on the coins themselves. you would think they would not handle them like that but oh well. I am very happy to get these as I have never wanted a coin/coins as bad as these. They are stunning and congrats to all who had patience and took advantage of this great deal. Thanks WebNomad for starting this thread! I might not have known about these deals if it wasn't for Cointalk!

Mine from Jack hunt got to Syracuse yesterday at 4:34 AM and are still there.
I also ordered another set from FideliTrade today. I wonder how long they will take. I'm sure Fidelitrade waits at least 7 days for checks to clear.

Hi, I am the OP of this thread. I just received my set from MTB and am quite pleased with it, especially considering the continued rise on silver price AFTER I put in my order! But the coin quality is really not that impressive - I am not sure if this is common among the 5oz silver coins, or just an ATB design and production issue, but the coins just seem a bit plain and rustic. Anyway, overall speaking, I am happy. At least I can consider these bullion products at a great bargain. And I hope everyone else is also happy with their decision.

You're not alone. At first MTB was sending out good sets. It sounds like they saved the worst for last. Lot of bad reports lately on MTB.
