Anyone think the TomaHawk Missiles over Gadaffi's head will have any affect on the price of PM's? Just a thought, well at least our boys don't have to set foot on the ground over there. Check it out!! Go USA and allies!! :thumb:

War is bearish on money. Always has been. More importantly, it's just more old men sending young kids to die for their profit.

Ouch! So true, so true. Supposedly according to Obama none of our soldier's will set foot in Lybia. Well see, hopefully not but time will tell...

Any comments from you older or younger sailors? Besides the price of silver, why won't the Saudi's just take Gaddafi out and take over the territory and oil? Anyone got any Lybian gold coins, ppl are paying top dollar and well above spot. just a heads up!!

I'd bet money, even odds, that they are already there.

Sounds loony to me. After any war, we tend to see the market flooded with coins from a country (even if it's just troops bringing back souvenirs).

if I were to talk to you in person I may comment however how a days there are many things that can get you in trouble like what you say, write, photograph etc..and I am not about to risk my career on it :). I will say I like what yakpoo quoted.

I'm as TEA Party conservative as you get...and I HATE spending US tax dollars fighting these clowns.

I liked Ronnie's approach...give weapons equally to both sides and let 'em knock each other's brains out!!

If they're busy fighting each other, they won't have time to mess with us. :thumb:

    Who gives a rat's @zz about these dancing Q-tips!

We're Americans...we can find a way to live without their oil/crack.

I agree for the most part.. However (and I don't know the background of the rebels or Gaddafi) if the U.S. government backs the rebels, it does not take that much money and there is virtually no chance of loss of life for the U.S. in providing air support for a couple weeks. A few hundred million is a drop in the bucket. I will be irate however if the U.S. ends up using ground troops or still flying sorties months or years from now.

Yeah Reagan's approach was great in 1982 but now it's a bit different with Al Quaeda and all. Anyone could take over that country and then we'd really have our axxes in a sling. What's gonna happen next? Nobody knows, big gamble that's for sure and Gaddafi should have been taken out long ago!! Time to drop a bomb in his lap!!

I forgot to leave this link about the Middle East and the price of PM's!!
