You suck emachines, you rock Vaio. Just switched computer and I have movement!!!! What was your order number around?? I will break something if they sell out. Edit: I'm close baby!!!!!!!! I can smell the green!! This gonna buy a lot of banjos!!
2:46.....hit site link 2:47....hit buy button 2:48....hit shopping cart button 2:50.....hit checkout button 2:52.....fill in shipping info 2:56.....select shipping. $99!!!!!! LOL, this is where I pull the plug and call it quits. I assume they're charging state tax too? For you guys that want to "flip" have fun, but to the collector guy it just don't wash in my book.
Yeah, I know. Just wanted to test the speed of the system. I got in pretty quick and that's probably because the traffic onsite is (most likely) winding down, Good luck on your purchases and whatever ya want to do with 'em people.....
yeah they charged tax only if you were in California I think. All said and done mine was about $974 including the $99 shipping, plus they are already certified PCGS BU First Strike, which yes I know to most of you on bullion that means nothing but thats not the point here. That additional service alone would cost the average joe an extra $300 give or take. I am super excited! My order number was in the 1420~ range... sweet.
I started on the site at 1:00pm and didn't get done until 2:00 pm. Why 6 - 8 weeks on shipping? I'm wondering if they cross check with other authorized sellers to make sure you don't already have a set? I put an order in through Fidelitrade and I got their confirmation of receipt; but I'm really expecting them to return the check, because I was pretty late getting it in. But, having that order in won't jeopardize this purchase will it? Did anyone read the terms of sale? I didn't; I thought I was lucky enough just maintaining a connection to their site.
I had a business deal this morning ! And came back as fast as i could too see about these and now A-Mark has stopped selling them this is nuts Who's selling them next ?????
Has anyone else heard from Fidelitrade regarding orders placed with them? I keep checking my bank account to see if the check is processing through as that seems to be the next sign. I'm guessing I won't get one from them but to be honest after scoring from A-mark I'm not that worried about it! If I do score a set onto Ebay they will go!
I'm in the same boat as you. Since I got the email from them that they received my order and it was forwarded to compliance (no guarantee of getting a set), I have not heard anything further and my check has not been cashed. I would assume we'll hear from them soon in either direction though. I'm afraid to call them out of fear of making them upset and getting my order cancelled or something like that. I bought mine to own, but I expect ebay prices on these to start declining especially as more APs sell their sets. A lot of these will end up on ebay and supply will catch up to demand. I think unless you got one of the first 1000 (could be less) sets from APMEX or the other APs that sold theirs earlier in January, there won't be much in the way of profits for flipping. Although, it did seem as though sets sold on ebay that were acquired through the AP in Springfield, IL depressed prices for a short period of time down to around $2000 and then prices went back to the $2500 range again.
Collector demand may wane but there's always the intrinsic bullion value to consider with these issues. This year will test the AtB collector with 5 more 5 ounce 2010 AtB numismatic versions to come, followed by the next 2011 bullion coins and 2011 numismatic versions. That's a heck of a load of silver pucks to dump on the market. How many collectors will try for a set of both bullion and numismatic versions, 100 oz of above spot price metal to pay out.. plus collect the actual parks quarters, silver and or clad, other precious metals collectibles... It becomes staggering to keep up with! There may be collector demand for years to come as people try assembling sets, staying up with new releases and trying to determine real market value both in the bullion world and in the collector demand. Lots to consider in this wild time of silver coins pouring out of the Mint.
I think I got and an A-Mark set! I wonder what PCGS means by "Choice BU?" Recently I asked NGC the diff between BU and Gem Unc on their slabs; BU is guaranteed to be at least MS60, Gem is guaranteed to be at least MS65, both are only available to bulk submitters. I guess it's a good deal to get the set already graded, I still feel like their point was in cherrypicking the top grades! PS: It appears from their website that ALL 33 K ATBs are eligible for PCGS First Strike!
If bullion value exceeds what these dang things are going for on e-bay then I think we're all schtupped......
This morning, A-Mark is registering future ATB purchasers on a first come, first server basis (first 250, only). Registants will be eligible to purchase sets on January 25th. I registered, but don't know if I'm one of the lucky 250. I assume I am since it accepted my registration.
