I've used billlmelater on the bay a couple times for the extra 8% in ebay bucks. Seems like a great deal. I just won 2 87 constitution proofs for $41 plus 10% ebay bucks which makes it 18.45 per coin. I'm lovin billmelater, anyone else using it?
I've been tempted to try it if only for the $10 back on your first transaction. What's the deal with 8%? eBay really could do a better job of promoting their promotions...
jacknife's first and (so far) only post here... word of mouth? guerrilla marketing? going viral? seems like it could be advertising the program with this post (which if true is against CT rules.)
Or they could, you know, say something about an 8% eBay Bucks promotion on their web site. Maybe in the same spots where they incessantly flog the BillMeLater program every time you go to pay for something. I've thought about asking people's opinions on the program here myself. My first reaction to jacknife isn't suspicion, even if it is his first post. We'll see. If this thread needs to go away, perhaps I'll start a thread asking about it myself. I'm guessing I've posted enough not to be dismissed as a spammer -- although, now that I think about it, an awful lot of my posts have pertained to eBay...
Jacknife has been a member since April and today is his first post. That tells me everything. Not a spammer, just a lurker and collector. Krispy, you should know better than to judge books by covers. hee hee I don't use the program myself, but it does look like it can be profitable in the end, mostly for eBay. That's the only reason they'd offer it.
i have used it for quite a long time now. way before you could start using it for ebay. i first starting using them because i had made an online purchase through a retailer that used them. i had gotten 12 months no interest on the item. :thumb:
You win the prize! Only reason I ask about bml is that I haven't heard any talk about it and it's a great way to get a deal on silver on the bay. Most of the time it's an extra 8% in ebay bucks but sometimes it's interest free for 6 months. Definitely nice to get a 10% kickback!
Well seeing no Intro posted, months of inactivity, then a question about this... I always have the alert up on forums. I've seen plenty of spammers hit CT. Such marketing tactics have been used to generate buzz... just saying. Glad to see he's back now with a follow up post. Welcome to CT jacknife...
I signed up for BML for the $10 credit and bought some stuff when eBay offered Double eBay Bucks, but that was only 4%, rather than the normal 2% eBay Bucks. I recently used my quarterly eBay bucks to purchase a 2004 NGC PF69 ASE for $1.98, very sweet! I don't use BML because I like to pay with my AMEX card thru PayPal which gives me an additional 1% cash back. that doesn't sound like much but it adds up, and I don't buy anything that I can't afford to pay for immediately. With a good credit score there are lots of sweet incentives to sign up for credit cards. I recently got $50 discount from REI for simply signing up for their credit card, which also offers 5% cash back on REI purchases and 1% cash back on everything else. These deals are like free money, but if you sign up for too many then your may lower your credit score.
