    I happen to agree with you. I think the initial frenzy will die down as more of these sets are released, but especially when the numismatic versions of them are released. No one knows what they are, but if they are proofs, I think they'd be more desirable. I think the analogies to the 2006 reverse proof silver eagle and the 1999 silver proof sets are good ones and the situation is not unlike the initial release of the First Spouse coins. In that series, though the later releases were in smaller numbers so the initial ones are selling now for a small premium over bullion, whereas the later issues that were made in very small numbers command much bigger premiums. It also helped a bit that gold has doubled in price since the initial release making what was a bad numismatic investment look like a really good investment in precious metals!
