Just got an e-mail from mintproducts.com offering sales of ASE's on a pre-order basis. Went in and took a look around. They're going for $35 and some. Probably will change that price from time to time but that price hurts. Guess I'll have to forgo the two rolls I usually get and be satisfied with just a handful. I'll also forgo the pre-order thing too. I'll take my chances in the weeks to come. I think silver is gonna sputter a bit. Probably wishful thinking on my part.
LOL, just checked back and now I can't get into the site. Guess there's a mad dash for these. Quick guys......the sky is falling.
I've bought coins from mint products before and have "pre-ordered" in the past. I may check other sites to see what they're offering first before I decide if I'll pre-order an ASE through mint products.
I just went directly to the mintproducts.com web site and immediately noticed this down the left column, already in my shopping cart, without my own action other than navigating to the site: I'm not a past mintproducts.com customer. I don't have an account with them and I have never dealt with them beyond perusing the site.
FWIW: Modern Coin Mint are also already selling the 2011 NGC graded bullion ASEs $39-$44 in NGC MS 69... Price "unknown" in 70 grades.
I just navigated to mintproducts.com and I'm in in a flash! Maybe it's the beep! beep! Time Warner Cable - Road Runner internet service here...
Maybe. I've got Optimum and it's pretty quick but I still can't get back in. Not that it matters though....
Doesn't matter a speck, those bullion ASEs will be all over the place for years to come, maybe not a dime-a-dozen, but you'd know what I meant if I said it that way too.
It's a shame. Same goes for the 5 oz. Parks bullion. Collector versions have taken a back seat for those buyers lusting after anything new and dealers greedy for easy profit utilizing pre-sale promotions selling bullion at today's hamburger price, which it might not be next Tuesday. Pigs usually get slaughtered in the end.
OK, so maybe I'm the comical one. Try as I may I can't get in there. Other sites load just fine, so it's not my connection.
Clear your cache and cookies, try again. Reboot your browser if you need to. See what happens. I can't believe they have THAT much traffic... it's not like it's the US Mint site on release day. Now that's comical-- or comically sad.
