Please let us know about your thoughts after you have actually received and inspected these "proof sets".
dave92029: I read your OP before bed last night and agree that sometimes you can find U.S. silver proof sets right around melt value and sometimes a bit under melt. Others "posters" are trying to make you aware that some eBay sellers switch out silver proof coins and replace them with clad proofs. It's been going on for years, but 90% of these sets are legit silver proofs. If you buying them for "well under melt", then I'd be suspious of the coins. They're probably okay, but you never know. Most of these full silver proof sets with 1 silver half dollar, 5 silver quarters and 1 silver dime go for $35-$40 or more.
