I'm looking for some 1/10 oz palladium rounds or bars, but I only want 1 or 2. Does anyone know where I can buy a couple of these?
1/10 Palladium is tough. Not too much out there. These are on ebay, but You might want to check for these elsewhere too. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380277465049&hlp=false&rvr_id=157283598530&crlp=1_263602_304652&UA=WXF%3F&GUID=da0277e312b0a0aad561b961ffa322a7&itemid=380277465049&ff4=263602_304652
I checked that link but theres onlt one thing that seems reliable enough to but. Do you know where I can buy Stillwater rounds?
As investment in PMs goes, 1 oz. government issued coins are your best bet, especially since the premium on fractional sizes is typically a significant mark up over spot metals prices. With that mentioned, Northwest Territorial Mint has some fractional palladium. You can watch Apmex for product but they typically only carry 1 oz. palladium.
In the case of a small budget you would be better in the long run to save until you can afford the larger 1 oz. pieces. Your money WILL go further and less will be wasted on inflated premiums over spot price. You will also loose much of the same premium when you go to sell. Consider saving up before you buy -or- consider an ETF which is easier to liquidate and may allow you to buy into shares in smaller increments.
Wow! $200 for 2 - 1/10th oz! You can currently get a full 1-ounce govt issued Canadian Maple palladium coin for $633 from Provident or Apmex.
