I don't see where the AU folks are seeing any wear, but if there is any, I'd say AU-58+ and a coin I'd take over any MS-60, 61, or 62.

I'm afraid what you think is the die chip might be the statue of Abraham Lincoln.
IMO it's an interior die break with a crack that possibly extends into the L as well.

I lean toward a die crack. I don't see a small hit like that pictured, raising that much metal for that length.

Incuse means the lettering, motto, etc. are 'stamped" into the coin rather than raised like most coins.
The date looks fine based on other 1922 cents. Look at this one that's certified....
