Tom Babinszki

I was born completely blind. I started collecting coins when I was six, which also made me interested in languages, cultures and history. Over the years I have developed from being a hoarder to a collector and finally a hobby numismatist. I travel a lot for work, in my free time I like to visit numismatic museums and exhibits, and I write about my experience on my blog, among other things.

I collect coins by type from around the world, primarily circulation currency, though sometimes I get a few commemoratives or medals. My primary interests are the US, Hungary, Portugal and territories and East Africa.

My current goal is to make Hungarian numismatic information available in English.
