I agree with @paddyman98. Notes are distributed in packs with consecutive serial numbers. It’s perfectly normal for new notes to be consecutive.
Have you checked for the security strip and a watermark ?
It might be the flexibility of the paper versus the rigidity of the metal planchettes.
