About
After discovering a heavily patinated commemorative 10 kroner silver coin in my grandma's jar of crayons, I became a coin collector at the age of 11. Perhaps the fact that my uncle, whom was a eager collector of Norwegian coins, soon became aware of my freshly obtained interest in large silver coins, also played a part. He thusly made sure he dropped me a new coin for my collection every time he came to visit.
During my years in Bergen as an art student, I discovered ancient coins thought the purchase of a greek tetradrachm of Antiochos III. From then on, it was to be my main focus, although I'm known to take strange detours on my collecting path.
I have now lived in my old home village Etne for some 18 years after moving back from a three years stay in Bath, UK. I work full time as an artist, mostly focused on painting and printmaking.Interact
