Thanks for your input. Took it to a respected dealer today. It is silver. It is in the proper weight range. Looked at it under higher power scope....
Sorry to confuse the situation, but I was referring to my pic in the post immediately prior. I believe my “supposed” 1915 is most likely a 1945.
