Which federal agency are you director of?

I collect Peace Dollars (need just one more to complete my set), my avatar is the silver 3 cent or trime. I just bought my first at the Baltimore show but its been my avatar for awhile. Since I am finishing my Peace Dollar set I am getting started on a mercury dime set. I just started to look at currency - I bought a book and have been browsing through it to see where I want to focus on. I really like some of the old notes - don't know much about them. I like to research things first before I start buying. Didn't American Banknote print currency during the Civil War? I thought I read about them somewhere. I just wish I had lots of money to spend on money!! Roslyn

Hi, thanks for the link to Treasure in the Cellar. I'll try to pick up a copy of the book. Years ago, I read an article in the Sunpapers about the gold find but it wasn't very detailed. It could've been a review of the book. Thanks.

Which coins do you collect? Your avatar is very cool.

I recently switched from coins to currency & MPC (try to stick with american banknote company. Also, been burning up hours learning to photograph medals.
