I found it, so I can upload 1024 wide photos but not in this type of post (I see no Manage Attachments for this page) only in Forums? Is that the max or is it now like Flickr and allow 24" wide images or so when expanded? One inquiring mind needs to understand limits. I hate trial and error, especially the error part.

Larry, you can post large pictures here, it puts a bar above the photo that you have to click to make the photo show at its full size, then you click it again to shrink it back down to fit.

Test section is still there, it's just a sub-forum of the support section now.

Have you considered widening the pages to allow 1024 pixel wide photos here?

PhotoBucket images would be somewhat larger.

I am also a member at CoinZip, and can tell you that any site that bans Aidan Work must be a good place. ; ) What a pest he can be, and what a mouth. He was suspended there recently for spamming fellow members, especially the newbies and trying to get them to follow him to strange new sites. Some had 7 members, etc.

There used to be a Test thread or Forum here. I can't find it now and I can't now figure out how to get a photo to embed in a post, other than a link. I'd like to be able to embed 600-pixel wide images. I wouldn't mind resizing, but need to know max pixel dimension if square image. Flickr and PhotoBucket support larger images now, as do many coinsites.

Thank for your consideration. : )

P.S. I just read a post below that mentions the Test place in Support. et me check that... brb

      Peter,
I am having trouble logging in, and could not reach you without signing up again. My username is SirCharlie, and I have tried logging in 4 times, once trying to change my password, but it tells me I am about out of times I can try. I am at work now and using a different email address, but can access my email at home. Is there something wrong? Help please?
removed your email so the spammer bots won't get it.

Sorry to bug you Mr. Davis. First I love the sight happy to be here. It seems that it gets quite hectic when a certain member gets involved in some of the threads. I'm here to learn but to see such disrespect and desire to argue get's very depressing. As you've stated before you're not here to be school teacher but this Jazzcoins seems to look for conflict. My current issue is on ERRORs the 2000P die clash. Sorry to bug you I just wasn't sure how the forum normally plays out. Thanks again for the great sight and wealth oh knowledge.

Peter, I figured it out. I was clicking on the "New Posts" section and wasn't seeing the New Thread option. I was doing this from the top bar on the screen (top horizontal tool bar). If I first click on "The Forum to Discuss Old Coins" and then pick the catagory I want to post in I could start a new thread. I figured it out. Thanks for allowing me to waste your posting space so I could "think out loud"- no sarcasm. A lot of times we solve our own problems if we put our attention to the problem and focus!

No I can look at New Posts and post on anyones post but I can't start my own thread. I have started a handlful of threads since I joined this forum but I can no longer do so. The option to start a thread is nowhere to be found on any page. Thanks for your help!

You got me a bit confused now. Is it the new posts search that isn't working for you, of when you're trying to post a new thread?
