    It really appears to be caused by compression. A better camera would show that when viewed from the edge. It's also slightly larger, in diameter,...

    So telling my boss to "SHOVE IT" was a mistake? But seriously...the impression is a U shaped groove, not V shaped like a bolt cutter might cause....
