Thats right marc, gold is always gold. I did checked it from the gold jewellery store, they told it was 24k. A Belly dancer was a nice example...

I found it. It is 24kt gold. But dont know the origin. Is it fake or real? But the metal is pure gold. Are those hieroglyphics on the coin?
