    Thanks for the fast replies. Is this coin worth more than 5 cents? Is there a site on the internet that shows the "modern hobo nickels"?

    I have added the picture. I agree, it is probably a hobo nickel. I have seen several pictures that are similar.

    Unfortunately the year is unreadable. It is not a hobo nickel. I checked an internet picture of the 2 hobo nickels and mine does not match them.
