As chrisild said, Spanish 1500 Pesetas coins were not for circulation. About "more rounded" coins I was just joking about UK and decimal system....
Spanish peseta is my smallest coin too. Weight : 0.50 gr. Diametre : 14 mm. Thickness : 1.55 mm.
