i think so, looking at the coin it self there is a "crack" thru the eagles head and thru some of the script over its head.
i think its a scratch in the "cello".

check between the pony tail and the coat, if the same as a quarter there should be frost or (proof luster) there. that luster will disappear first...
interesting in that several of my lower grade proofs seem to be under graded. not due to ugly. they also seem to be graded some time ago.
