    Thanks. I have been using Newcombs book. The left side of the base of the one took a hit and doesn't actually contact the denticle IMO.

    I've spent over an hour with this coin trying to attribute it. My problem is whether it's an open 5 or a closed 5. Sounds simple enough, right?...
