Thanks for the comments. This seems to happen with all of the pictures I take of coins. The coins end up looking dead. As usual they look better...
The weight is spot on for both of them. What makes you question that there might be something wrong?
Nothing spectacular here, just looking for thoughts on condition/grade ect. FYI These are cell phone pics with natural outdoor lighting....

Did you ever send the original coin in to be regraded?
Old manila envelope paper had sulfur in them that would tone coins if placed inside. Not sure if modern manila envelopes are the same.
If the buyer doesn't take the time to educate him/herself, can you really claim they are being taken advantage of in this situation? No in my opinion.
Received the unc silver dollar today and the proof about 2 weeks ago. I was worried about receiving someone's returns but both coins looked great.

Got my half in the other day. Still waiting on the dollars. Same as above with proof listed as back ordered to ship on 8/15 and the Unc back...
That looks like machine doubling and not a true DD. I am far from an expert however....
