Born in 1982, a bad year for Lincoln cents, I started collecting coins around age 13. I quit for about 10 years and now I am back at it with a whole new passion and understanding of the hobby. I mainly collect buffalo nickels and Lincoln cents but I have some of everything. I am collecting on a tight budget and the silver few coins I have, I received from my father. I love reading about numismatics and spend my lunch break every day reading Coin World or one of my books. I mostly shop for coins locally and I love taking my 7 year old son to the coin shops with me. He usually gets free coins when I bring him along and I will be happy to hand my collection down to him some day.
