Happy Birthday CCMint, According to our records today is your birthday. Many Happy Returns of the Day!
Sorry `- jus tnoticed the message... I do appologize for the late reply! I'm from Spokane - How about you?
Not the real Lionel Ritchie... but with names and initials like mine, you weren't the first and won't be the last to ask! Have a great day! -Lionel
Hey CC. Just finished putting down one of those wood floors in the fire place room. Looks good and I didn't kill myself doing it. How goes with you?
I apologize for taking so long to reply. I have kinda abandoned the forum for some time. It is called a Van Dorn Battle Flag, as it was the personal flag of Gen Earl Van Dorn. Versions of it were carried by many Confederate units west of the Mississippi during the Civil War and is emblematic of my heritage. My GGG Grandfather served and died in the Confederacy west of the Mississippi, and I am now involved with the Sons of Confederate Veterans working to perserve and commemmorate the memories of our Civil War ancestors. Thanks so much for asking!
Hey, I was wondering if you'll be going to the Boeing Coin Show? I'd love to meet a few of the west side CT Members here! http://seattlebecc.org/info/CoinShow.html
I got all those Proof Gold Buffalos in 2007 @ 899.95 ea from the Mint. I just had a good feeling about the price of gold that year.
Yes, the registration link is, for some reason, broken. There's a ticket in with AddOnChat's support folks, but no progress as of yet. In the mean time, if you wish, feel free to PM me your preferred user name and password, and I'll set you up manually. :)
Why, yes, actually I have!! I purchased a 1864 $10 Vonfederate bill from a fellow member. He gave me a fantastic deal, I am very pleased!
Oh Lord, me a moderator? Perish the thought CC. I'd have to behave, and I do so like being naughty at times......:) No, I've never served in the military, but I've great respect and admiration for all who do and have. Both of my grandfathers fought in WWI and both my father and father-in-law served in WWII. I was ready and poised to serve in Vietnam, but the war ended by the time I was to be called. They didn't need me. Weird time back then. People used to spit on our soldiers. I'm glad times have changed and the measure of respect and dignity is bestowed on our men and women of the armed forces almost on a daily basis.
