    Many spots make me cringe... only one or two shouldn't detract from the value that much.

    I agree, they look pretty good. 1 is in pretty good condition. From the photos available, I'd grade it at about a 58? Maybe less on further...

    Is this a die crack on my 1860 Half Dime? If so, does that mean anything, or is it common?

    Yeah, that just looks like a scratch on the coin, not a die crack. Try feeling with your fingernail to tell if there is a raised area.
